The SMP Training Program has been meticulously crafted to equip fresh audit professionals (comprising audit assistants/associates and audit seniors) with the essential knowledge and competencies needed to enhance their job performance. This initiative forms a vital part of the Institute’s ongoing commitment to bolster SMP practitioners by offering pertinent training for their workforce.
The acquisition of knowledge will be facilitated through concise e-learning modules, affording busy auditors the convenience and adaptability required to cultivate their skill sets.
Objectives:
To provide new audit professionals with an understanding of:
- The audit environment in Singapore
- ISCA audit methodology and its applications
- Ethics Pronouncements (EP) 100 and 200
To develop the technical skills required to perform audit procedures effectively.
To enhance the professional judgment and critical thinking skills required to make sound audit judgments.
Competency Assessment:
Category 2 = 4.5 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Hours
Category 3 = 25.5 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Hours
Completion Criteria:
Complete all e-learning modules, including active participation in all interactive activities and successful completion of knowledge assessments.
To pass the Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ) Assessment, a minimum score of 75% is required.
